Alexander Russell Fest was born on 7/23/12 and was recently diagnosed with Monosomy 7 Myelodysplasia. Monosomy 7 Myelodysplasia is a problem with the bone marrow in Alex’s body. It will continue to deteriorate; it is very rare for someone his age to have this. Alex’s parents have been told he will need to have a bone marrow transplant at the University of Minnesota. Alex’s sister, Alison (6) will be his donor. A benefit is being held to help the family fund Alex’s medical treatment.
There will be a benefit for Alexander at the Heron Lake Elementary School on May 19, 2013 from 9:00 to 2:00. Pancake Breakfast with free will donation and silent auction. We appreciate your support for Alex and his family as they go thru this difficult time. Alexander’s parents are Levi and Kimberly Fest of Heron Lake, MN. If you have any questions or would like to donate please contact Jamie at 507-360-2455. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Banks under Alexander R Fest Donation Trust. Supplemental Funds provided from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
